If you’re thinking about starting the transformative process of AACD Accreditation, don’t miss these valuable opportunities:
Accreditation Examiners eager to lend you an ear – AACD Accreditation Examiners are identified with ribbons on their name badges and will be in the AACD Booth in the Exhibit Hall at various times. We highly recommend you approach one and ask about the process or even a case you’re working on. The examiners are eager to talk to you!
Intro courses to give you a taste of Accreditation – If you’re still contemplating whether Accreditation is for you, sit in on Dr. Bradley J. Olson’s Accreditation Workshop. It’s full of insights about the process and can help address any uncertainty you may have. Then, if you’re still interested in Accreditation, stick around for Dr. Scott Finlay’s Criteria Workshop. If you’re hooked, attend any of the Accreditation track lectures and hands-on workshops that cover all of the Accreditation case types.
Constructive critique to help you develop a keen eye – If you’re wondering what type of feedback you would get on your cases and want to pick the brain of an examiner in a more formal setting, sign up for the Advanced Accreditation Workshop. Bring cases to be reliably and respectfully critiqued by Accreditation Examiners. This is one of the most helpful courses you will ever attend.
On-site written exam to get started on your journey – When you take the written exam at AACD 2018, you embark on a journey filled with education, camaraderie and, ultimately, an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.
Already Accredited? Then Fellowship is for you! Sign-up for the Fellowship Workshop at AACD 2018 to see examples of multiple case types and learn more about beginning your pursuit of Accredited Fellow status in the AACD.
